The hotel was great, well connected and yet just slightly outside the hustle and bustle so you get some quiet. The view from our room wa fantastic, especially at night. I will say thought that if you are carrying luggage, the hotel is a little far from the nearest subway station (roughly ten to fifteen minute walk which can be difficult if it’s hot or raining and you’re dragging luggage behind you), so recommended to take the bus from the subway to the hotel. The hotel decor was a cool 00s hipster inspired vibe which I thought was a nice touch. Some design elements seemed incomplete to me like the shower having a small gap at the bottom such that water would easily overrun the stall and wet the floor outside the shower, but that’s just a small pet peeve of mine that’s all. I have to say though, very very big fan of the bidet setup on the toilet, highlight of every morning honestly. I am genuinely thinking of investing in one for my own toilet at home hehe. Anyway, would definitely recommend this hotel!!

Staff is very welcoming and friendly, always happy to help us and support. The hotel is located in 15-minutes walk from Jongno5(o)ga station, and 10-minutes walk from Dongdaemun station, which are fine routes and easy to reach with suitcases. In the close proximity to the hotel you can find coffee shops (turn to the right- you can see COFFEEBAY, really nice atmosphere and great coffee; on the left from hotel is Starbucks), local restaurants and Olive Young. Also hotel is well located regarding the bus transportation, bus stops are just nearby. You can also explore a very nice village across the hotel. The style of hotel is quite unique and charming, and having the bar at B1 floor makes the stay very special. The room was very cozy, and the bed was really soft - exactly what we needed after long days of walk. Also the room had big windows, you can enjoy the views of Seoul.

I absolutely love the room's interior. It had a nice musical theme touch to the room. The bathroom design was really modern with great bathroom hygiene automatic bidet technology. Inside some of the large rooms, you will find a record player where you can select your vinyl in the lobby (the vinyl deposit is required). The hotel room overall was extremely tidy and clean. With this price, the view of the village on the hill was extremely beautiful. Near the hotel, there is also a lot of local restaurants and around the area, there is an olive young store, I would say this hotel has a nice location.

We had heard of Glue Hotel for sometimes, and it was our first sojourn there. We were delighted to have big windows the led to an open view of the city - unlike most of the hotel in Seoul the view was normally blocked by other skyscrapers. They provided vinyl player in the room and allowed tenants to borrow records from the reception desk. And it was fun to watch the turntable to spill out scratchy music decades ago. It was a chill and stylish hotel for exploring the versatile and multi-facated city of Seoul. The staffs we met were very friendly and helpful, and they spoke fluent English.

Location - it is in a "quieter" area of Seoul, but given that it is a busy city you will still hear noise from cars. There were numerous bus stations around which was fantastic. The metro station is a little bit further, but the path is relatively even, so very doable with luggage. Its closeness to the palaces (30 min walk) is also really good as it allowed me to get to know Seoul slowly and by foot in the first half day of being there.
